The Connoisseur's Club

The Connoisseur’s Club is for the wine lover who likes to have the best wines on hand for any occasion. Receive a selection of 12 of Te Mata’s Showcase and Estate wines, curated for the season, and delivered three times a year: April, July and October. Average cost per shipment: $400.

What is the price of each Wine Club shipment?
The Collector’s Club has an annual shipment and the Coleraine price is released just prior, in late February each year. As a Collector’s Club member, you will receive the Preferential Club price. Payments are processed four days after the price is released, so you can cancel your membership then if you wish.
The Connoisseur’s Club has three shipments at an average cost per shipment of $406. As a member you are committed to purchase a minimum of three shipments.
The Director’s Club pricing varies depending on the wines and number of shipments you order at signup. You will receive 15% off all current-release wines (excluding Coleraine and promotional packs) and complimentary NZ freight.
Pricing for All Clubs is subject to change with reasonable notice.
When will my credit card be charged?
Collector’s Club: early March each year Coleraine is produced. You will receive an email four days before your payment is processed.
Connoisseur’s Club: 1 October, 1 April, and 1 July each year. You will receive notification emails two weeks and two days before your payment is processed.
Director’s Club: on the day you sign up, then every two, three, four, or six months following. You will receive notification emails two weeks and two days before your payment is processed.
When will I receive my wine?
Collector’s Club: early March each year Coleraine is produced.
Connoisseur’s Club: early April, July, and October each year.
Director’s Club: a few days after the anniversary of your sign up, every two, three, four, or six months.
Can I stop my Wine Club membership at any time?
After your minimum commitment (see price question above for each Club), you can skip or cancel your membership at any time.
Can I choose a different selection of wines?
The Collector’s Club secures your allocation of Coleraine each year and you can add any other wines to your shipment when the price is released in late February.
As a Director’s Club member, you are in the driver’s seat – you make your own selection of 12 Te Mata wines for delivery every two, three, four, or six months.
Connoisseur’s Club members can adjust the seasonal selection prior to each shipment.
What if Coleraine is not produced?
Collector’s Club members will be notified prior to the shipment and your credit card will not be charged that year. You will retain Collector’s Club benefits and have first access to other current-release wines.
Can I join more than one Wine Club?
Yes, you can.
Can I join the Collector’s Club outside of New Zealand?
The Collector’s, Connoisseur’s and Director’s Clubs are only available with a New Zealand delivery address. You can buy our wines for direct international shipment here. You can also join our Te Mata Club here to keep up to date with new releases and other winery news.
