Original Te Mata Tasting Note
2000 Cape Crest has a pale lemon/straw colour, aromas of pear, fennel and toast flowing into a palate with similar flavours and a sustained dry finish. 2000 Cape Crest has the potential to develop and intensify in bottle for 3 to 5 years and will take on a toasty character with age. It is an ideal aperitif, served cool, or will partner dishes such as Caesar salad, smoked fish or chicken and lightly spiced Asian food.
