Cape Crest 2018 Reviews
Cape Crest '18 - ' Linear and refined with lovely pear and citrus, as well as some grapefruit and well-integrated oak. A serious, textural Sauvignon with lovely weight and power, finishing bright with good acidity. So refined.' 93 Points

Cape Crest '18 - 'The first non-Marlborough sauvignon blanc to make the Fine Wines List, Cape Crest is unlike any other New Zealand sauvignon blanc. Blended with semillon and sauvignon gris and delicious on release.'

Cape Crest '18 - 'A splendid rendition of the variety: the intensely aromatic bouquet shows kaffir lime, feijoa, sweet basil and dried herb characters with a touch of almond note. The Palate is powerful and dynamic, displaying wonderful mid palate weight and vibrancy, leading to a persistent refined finish. pristine yet complex with layers of fine texture and mouth-watering flavours.' 95 points ★★★★★

Cape Crest '18 - 'This dry, full bodied Sauvignon Blanc has a long track record as one of New Zealand’s top dry whites. It’s 100% fermented in French oak, 30% new with the remainder in used barrels. It’s 90% Sauvignon Blanc, 6% Semillon and 4% Sauvignon Gris (a grape variety in it own right – not a hybrid or blend, as the name seems to suggest). This wine’s a keeper. It ages beautifully for up to 10 years.' 18.5/20 Points
