The grapes were destemmed, crushed, and given a plunged fermentation and extended skin contact, followed by fourteen months ageing in new and older barrels. The wine was bottled in September, 1996.

The grapes for Bullnose Syrah 1995 were hand harvested on the 19th April.

Michael Morris and Peter Cowley, vineyard partners and old car enthusiasts, named this wine after the pre-1928 Morris Cowley car, nicknamed Bullnose due to its distinctive radiator. The bull emblem of the label is drawn from the Bullnose car’s radiator crest.
