TASTING NOTES 1995
Bullnose Syrah 1995 has a dark ruby/purple colour, an aroma of spicy raspberries, and white pepper and a supple palate again showing raspberry and spice characters.
Bullnose Syrah 1995 has a development potential in the bottle of 3-6 years from harvest.
It is a wonderful partner to all red meats, Italian and other foods featuring herbs and spices, and all cheeses.

WINEMAKING
The grapes were destemmed, crushed, and given a plunged fermentation and extended skin contact, followed by fourteen months ageing in new and older barrels. The wine was bottled in September, 1996.
VINEYARDS
The grapes for Bullnose Syrah 1995 were hand harvested on the 19th April.
ORIGIN
Michael Morris and Peter Cowley, vineyard partners and old car enthusiasts, named this wine after the pre-1928 Morris Cowley car, nicknamed Bullnose due to its distinctive radiator. The bull emblem of the label is drawn from the Bullnose car’s radiator crest.
