CARL GUNDERSEN - VINEYARD MANAGER
Muscular, solid and harmonious.
Vineyard Manager at Havelock Hills, Carl joined Te Mata Estate in 1995. He is married with two children, both girls and in his spare time he enjoys cricket and spending time with his family.

BULLNOSE

DAKEN ANDERSON - VINEYARD MANAGER
Smooth and full bodied.
Daken has been working at Te Mata Estate since 1999 and is now our Bullnose Vineyard Manager. He has two children and a multitude of sporting interests, including skiing, snowboarding, kayaking, hunting, fishing and wake boarding.

PAEA SMITH - VINEYARD WORKER
Soft and herbaceous.
A vineyard worker since 2002. Paea has four children and loves spending time with her family and is a keen gardener.

WOODTHORPE



JONATHAN BUCK - VINEYARD MANAGER 
Crude white with sweaty socks and strong sulphide.
Since returning from Europe to Hawkes Bay and the family business in 1990, Jonathan has dedicated himself to making Woodthorpe the showpiece vineyard that it is today. He is married to Megan and has three children. He keeps fit by running around the vineyard and has been known to play Polo.

DION BROWN - VINEYARD WORKER
Ample and muscular, always surprise with a deceptively elegant finish.
Dion has worked for Te Mata Estate since the age of fifteen. He is married with four children and has a passion for motorcycles and big old cars.

TOM MARTIN - VINEYARD WORKER
Fully developed with aromas of sawdust, leather and straw.
Starting in 1999 Tom is a man of the great outdoors, he enjoys pig hunting, deerstalking, fresh and salt water fishing.

DAVE BIBBY - VINEYARD WORKER
Full flavoured with a hint of spice and a long lasting aftertaste.
With a wealth of experience in Hawkes Bay’s farming and pip and stone fruit industries, Dave joined Woodthorpe in 2002. A fan of rugby and fishing, he sounds like the good kiwi bloke; however, he does describe himself as ‘a proud family man.' Dave is married to Bev and together they have three children.
